The heat recovery principle
More than just a product: tetraSchwank heat recovery systems utilise the thermal energy from exhaust gases. This energy would otherwise be lost.
Condensation technology is a special technology used in the combustion of fossil fuels (such as gas). It utilises not only the heat generated during combustion, but also the latent heat of the exhaust gases. The fresh air from outside, heated in the exhaust gas heat exchanger, is fed into the building (80%) and into the combustion air (20%). This significantly improves the energy efficiency of the heating system, as less energy is lost.
The special feature of Schwank condensing technology is that each element – both the infrared heating and the heat recovery system – is an independent development. By combining both elements, the overall energy efficiency of the system can be increased to up to 110% (based on HI).
