primoSchwank

The primoSchwank infrared plaque heater sets the industry standard in terms of gas-fired radiant heating and guarantees good seasonal efficiency and radiation factors. Within the Schwank portfolio, the primoSchwank infrared heater has a clear advantage whenever the requirements involve low investment and a good level of thermal comfort. The optimisation of the radiating surface, as well as the pre-heated gas-air mixture via the patented Delta mixing chamber, make it the best plaque (or luminous) infrared heater of its class.

  • Seasonal efficiency of 95.0%*
  • 69,3% radiation factor
  • 95,0% thermal efficiency [with respect to the net calorific value Hi]
  • Fully modulating
  • Uniform and comfortable heat distribution
  • Short up-heating times
  • Quality, durability and high comfort
  • No dust swirls or draught air from this high performance infrared heater
  • Fast and easy installation
  • “Made in Germany” quality
  • * Calculated according to Directive 2015/1188 of the European Commission on the primoSchwank 40/M infrared plaque heater model

Since 01.01.2018, the ErP Directive has also applied to hall heating systems such as tube heaters. Systems from SCHWANK achieve excellent values here. Find out everything you need to know about the requirements of the new Ecodesign directive below.

Schwank has achieved another milestone in heating control with the standard introduction of the IC 4000 automatic burner control in all heating systems.

From 01.01.2018 Schwank is the first manufacturer to eliminate the 2-stage modulation for all its bright and dark radiators in favour of stepless modulation.

Application reports

The largest Polish steelworks with approx. 4,000 employees and a capacity of 5 million tons per year is located in Katowice. The plant has three blast furnaces, two rolling mills, three continuous steel foundries and its own power plant.

The BMW Group has set itself the goal of continuously increasing production while maintaining the same level of energy consumption. The so-called energy sustainability index regards the heating system as an essential component of this overall economic efficiency.

Foundries are characterised by unusual spatial conditions, whether new or old. While the casting furnaces produces enormous heat, blowers suck off the polluted air in very large quantities. This is about 30,000 m³/h per hall area.
