Schwank, the German specialist for building heating and cooling systems, will be extending its product portfolio around the theme of cogeneration units (CHP) on 1st October. The German market leader for gas-fired infrared heating systems therefore supplements its product range with an important component of building climate control with regard to the use and generation of sustainable energy. For strategic cooperation, Schwank is relying on the technology leader for CHP, the German enterprise group 2G. Like Schwank, the world’s leading company for highly efficient cogeneration units implements the ‘Made in Germany’ concept, with its own research and development. From the partnership, 2G partakes in the know-how of the climate expert for industry and trade. Schwank, on the other hand, will use the high-quality CHPs with gas motors as another system for use in commercial and industrial buildings. The backdrop of the decision is expressed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Friedhelm Schlößer as follows: “We want to establish ourselves even more extensively as system providers in order to be able to advise architects, planners, heating engineers as well as end customers even more holistically towards regenerative possibilities.”
